Before I go ahead to show you my 12 ways to make passive income online and offline, let me first explain what is passive income. Simply put, it is the earnings you continually receive (it could be on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis as the case may be) from an investment (it could be money or time investment in a business idea) which you have done in the past. Your earnings could be in the form of commissions, interests, rents, dividends, profits, just to name a few.

The attraction behind passive income is the idea to work once and earn forever!
