Newbie’s Do’s and Don’ts of How to Make Money on the Internet

If you have been online for any length of time, you will agree with me that it is not as easy as pie to know how to make money on the internet consistently. Many internet business wannabes and newbies are constantly asking me series of questions as to why they are not making money online even when they seem to be doing the right thing (?).

You will also find frustration among newbies who are not making money in internet marketing forums like Warrior Forum by reading the questions they are asking. Even our Bumper Wealth newsletter is also bombarded with the same old question of “What am I doing wrong?”

The truth is that if you really want to know how to make money on the internet consistently you must master the do’s and don’ts of internet marketing. Let’s quickly take a close look at some of them in this text.

Don’t Select the Wrong Market

There are too many wrong markets to start with as a newbie that will never make you money no matter how hard you try when you are just starting out. Some of these markets can be said to be very profitable but unfortunately you cannot gain a firm foothold of it because you are a newbie. Choose markets that are not common in the list to investigate further. Going through the keyword list, I am able to see obscure markets which every Tom, Dick and Harry in internet marketing is not talking about.

Don’t Select the Wrong Keyword Phrase

Yes, there are “right” and “wrong” keywords to choose from if you are serious about how to make money on the internet. Single or two words are too broad and they are wrong keywords to target because you may never rank for them in the search engine SERPs, now or in the distant future. Informational keywords are also not too good to pursue except you solely want to rely on contextual advertising as the main source of your internet income.

The right key phrases are long tail keywords with 3 or more action words and they should be buyers’ keywords. While the free Google keyword tool can help you to find profitable or right long tail keywords to target, it is however time wasting to manually check the market competition for each of these phrases you have found.
